GRANT TREK ® is "on-site" or "online" grant writing consultations, grant management assistance, grant writing workshops, grant writing and grant management seminars. Grant writing terminology may be confusing. For example, grant applicants have to distinguish between grants and contracts. Contracts are legally enforceable agreements that usually deal with procurement of products or services.

Grants are authorized and dispersed by many federal, state, and local governments as well as for profit and not for profit organizations. While there may be minor differences in each entity's grant application, the journey or "trek" to successful grant procurement is identical regardless of the funding source. Additionally, the "trek" is not completed until the recipients of the grant complete the funded project. The journey between the initial idea for a pursuing a grant to completion of the idea generated project is filled with many demands and expectations from both the grantor and the grantee.
